Our customer are a UK based M&E organisation with a presence in both construction and maintenance within commercial building services/Facilities management sectors. Due to an internal promotion there is a current requirement for a supervisor/engineering manager to join their existing team, who are responsible for planned and reactive maintenance to electrical and HVAC systems across a portfolio of critical sites they maintain across Central London. Guideline salary for the position is between £45-50k + package, working on a 40 hour week Monday-Friday.
Candidates must be fully qualified in either electrical or mechanical engineering (ideally through a full apprenticeship) with at least three years of experience working and managing within a critical environment (data centre, banking, healthcare, etc). Along with core qualifications, additional training such as HV authorisation, F-Gas, etc will all be particularly useful and specific technical responsibility in this role will include:
Electrical Fault-Finding, Single & Three Phase Power, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, BMS Operation, Air Handling & Fan Coil Units, Diesel Generators, Static & Rotary UPS Systems, HV & LV Distribution (AP for Switching, Shutdowns, Permits, etc), CRAC Units, Chiller & Boiler Faults, VESDA, Motors, Pumps, Water Treatment, etc.
