Job description

We are recruiting for an Engineering Support Supervisor / Contracts Supervisor to assist in the delivery of installation projects and support the contracts accordingly.
The role will involve the coordination of projects and contracts on the accounts. The client provides bespoke safety and fall protection solutions and supplies to major companies across the UK

The role is a Permanent position, Mon-Fri circa 40 hours per week based in the Manchester branch, some travel may be required.
Basic salary 28k plus car allowance and bonus pay.

Contract / Project Superivsor Job Duties
·      Manage labour plant and materials to ensure the smooth operation of projects from initial order to completion.
·      To produce, check and submit working drawing in compliance with current CDM regulations.
·      To provide technical data and supporting evidence to clients as deemed necessary.
·      To attend site to carry out surveys to aid pricing, design and installation.
·      To compile and / or arrange submission of Risk Assessments and Method statements for client and installation benefit.
·      Provide adequate level of supervision for onsite fitting teams.
·      Manage and promote a safe working environment.
·      To encourage communication between office and site based staff, suppliers, customers and management.
·      Manage and encourage business relations with existing and new customers.
·      To manage suppliers, to ensure quality and delivery of goods are in line with the Company standard.
·      Continue to build an advanced product knowledge.
·      Provide support for other departments when required.
·      Co-ordinate activities to achieve agreed goals and exceed targets.
·      Ensure completion of works are achieved within budget and to an agreed time scale.
·      Arrange for the collection, compiling and submission of Technical Manuals on completion of works.

Previous experience of Facilities, Engineering or Construction
Previous experience of supporting projects and contracts
Good organisational skills
Valid driving license
Former fall protection sector expereince is not required as training will be provided
Excellent planning skills
