Fabric Technician

Location: Bristol

Start Date: ASAP (Immediate start)

Type: 2 months with a possible extension

Pay Rate: £15-18ph depending on qualifications

Pay: Weekly pay

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in Bristol. PRS are currently looking for a Fabric Technician to be based at a commercial site in Bristol. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a handy person ideally with some painting and decorating, plumbing, basic electrical work,and repair work experience. You will be working on the PPMs and reactive maintenance of the building. This is a temporary position but if you prove to be hard working and reliable the position with be made permanent. The hourly rate paying £15.00 - £18ph depending on experience and qualifications. 

The hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. overtime is paid at x1.5 and x2 rates

Job description. 

Demonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe delivery of all work. Ensure that all Operational activities are carried out in Compliance with internal regulations and external Legislation governing the Business Operations. Capable of working independently. and completing all documentation. 

Practical experience carrying out Fabric related PPM's in-line with industry standard or equivalent with wide ranging skills in Reactive and Repair work. Capable of undertaking Reactive Repairs and Small Projects with minimal supervision. Experience in small PPM tasks such as visual checks, putting up shelves, changing light bulbs etc. Minimum of 2 years working as a Fabric Person on Commercial/Industrial facilities .   

Deliver PPM relating primarily to Building Fabric inline with agreed programmes/SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.
