A opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef to run one of their secondary schools in Essex.
Duties as Head Chef – We are looking for a Head Chef to lead their school catering team and take full control of the food production and development for 1000 students. You will be managing a team of 5, two Kitchen Porters, two Kitchen Assistants including yourself to provide breakfast and lunch service across the main servery. In addition to cooking, you will be maintaining stock control, bookwork planning menus and any additional hospitality requirements.
The ideal Head Chef will have proven craft and management skills, a real passion for fresh food and previous client liaison experience.
· 14 – 16 per hour
· Permanent term time contract can be offered to right Chef
· Working day shifts Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
