Our customer are a well established commercial HVAC and Building Services maintenance organisation, operating within the UK across predominantly the corporate environment for both managing agent and direct clients. Due to a recent internal promotion, they have an opportunity at one of their long held and high profile accounts, a multi-tenant skyscraper building in the heart of the City of London. Working on a Mon-Friday, 40 hour week, and reporting into the overall account manager, the main duties will be managing resident teams of shift and day teams, and providing technical support as HV (high voltage) authorised person for site. Guideline salary is up to £55,000 for the right person as well as standard company benefits.
Candidates will be electrically qualified, ideally through a full apprenticeship, with at least three years experience in a supervisor or management position. An experience of working within a large static site is preferred (managing a team of resident shift engineers, multi-tenant demands, etc), and prospective applicants must hold current AP 15 (11kV High Voltage) status. Once assessed and authorised on site by the employers specialist technical team, this will involve planning & managing HV shutdowns, 11kV switching, writing of schedules and permits, etc. Particular duties will involve:
- Man management of inhouse engineering team and PPM schedules
- Co-ordinating 3rd party specialist subcontractors
- Reporting into Account Manager
- Liaising with various tenants and on-site client (managing agent)
- Some involvement in projects work, alongside company’s dedicated project team
- Technical support including HV AP duties on site.
