Job descriptionWe are recruiting for 2 experienced Joiners to work on a site in the Edinburgh. These are temp – perm roles paying £16.50ph PAYE for the right candidates, the ideal candidates will have experience of working in a healthcare/hospital environment, ideally to have a current DBS or is willing to undergo a DBS
Duties as the joiner will involve:
Work Overtime to carry out emergency repairs as required.
Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities at the request of the Fabric Supervisor.
To liaise with Fabric Supervisor and Fabric Manager regarding request the supply of goods and/or services as necessary.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with published procedures.
Complete all report sheets and test certificates as necessary and mark up any drawing alterations.
Complete all Task/Risk Assessment sheets relating to work.
Use all of relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works ensuring full compliance with the clients guidelines and controls e.g. Risk Assessment, Site Safety, Fire Safety, Control of Infection and Hazardous Substances.
Obligation to undertake training where necessary to learn new techniques.
Understand fully the inter-relationship between the various maintenance crafts
Carry out any other task as requested/required by supervisor, managers.

• Previous experience of Building and refurbishment operations
• Manual handling competent
• Can work short notice
• Can work in a team environment
• Be willing to undergo a DBS check
