Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced M&E Asset Surveyor / Manager to work with a highly prestigious Facilities Company looking after the asset collection for electrical and mechanical plant on commercial and retail facilities across the Cheshire and North Wales areas.

Completing asset and dilapidation reports plus condition surveys, verification, data collection - largely electrical biased.

On Offer:

The role is a temporary position ongoing in nature (due to other possible contracts coming live)

Circa 19-22/hr dependent on pay method. 40 hours per week and mileage etc. paid.


Duties will involve visiting each site and producing a detailed evaluation on all the M&E systems

·        building services

·        HVAC

·        electrical distribution and lighting within the facility

·        Emergency systems

This will follow several methods including:

·        Asset and dilapidation reports

·        Verification surveys    

·        Plant surveys


The candidate will need to use their knowledge of M&E systems and engineering disciplines to survey the electrical and mechanical plant and collect the data.

The candidate must have a technical background, experience with Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC Engineering / Surveying Practices with a sound working history within the industry.

They must be able to complete manual and digital reports. This may require them to operate with some autonomy from the central office as part of the mobile team. They must have experience of:

·        Asset and dilapidation reports

·        Verification surveys

·        Plant surveys

·        Building surveys
