PRS are working with a large Building Services business assisting them in their search for an experienced M&E Engineer




ROLE: M&E Engineer

LOCATION: Mobile role covering the Midlands

SALARY: £34,000 plus van, fuel card & phone 




Our client

A large national M&E solution provider, they run Building Services contracts to multiple end users with excellent internal progression for driven and professional candidates.


You will ideally be electrically biased and hold an 18th Edition qualification and sound all round building services knowledge ( knowledge of HVAC equipment would be advantageous )
You will be working on a mobile role covering the Midlands carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance in a variety of commercial buildings including Schools, Commercial office space and corporate buildings. 



Main Responsibilities/Duties Include

• Able to prioritisation tasks from PPM’s and Helpdesk Requests (reacting to breakdowns and changing priorities)
• Safe system and work control system closeout
• Ability to stay calm during major incidents and relay accurate information to the site supervisor
• Ability to work under pressure and multi task
• The applicant should be presentable and have a good telephone manner
• As the engineer you must be able update jobs on a computer based system


Qualifications

• Experience in the building services, within a prestigious environment
 Either City & Guilds qualifications in electrical/18th edition or Mechanical Engineering
• F-GAS desired but not essential 
• Must have the balanced ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
• Experience of using a CAFM system
• An understanding of technical systems (i.e. Chillers, Boilers etc) 
• Understanding of steam services is an advantage
