Job descriptionOur customer are a large Facilities Management and M&E maintenance services provider, with a requirement for an M&E services manager for a newly won and high profile commercial contract based in the West London area. This company provide a full FM service to a development comprising retail and commercial space, involving maintenance to M&E and HVAC systems as well as provide soft services including landscaping, cleaning and helpdesk function. The company took over this contract in February 2020, meaning this is an opportunity to get involved with a contract at an early stage and make a real impact over the lifetime of the contract.
This particular role will be concerned with managing planned and reactive maintenance to mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems across the development. Involving managing a team of engineers on a rotating 24/7 shift pattern, managing the PPM schedule and co-ordinating with various third part subcontractors, as well as regular customer reports/meetings. Due to the retail element of the contract, there is an emphasis on liaising with various tenants to advise of developments, scheduled maintenance and to foster a cooperative working relationship.
Candidates must be fully qualified in an engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical), ideally served through an apprenticeship, and with a minimum of 3 years experience managing M&E maintenance services within a commercial environment. Along with core engineering qualifications, training such as L8/IOSH/NEBOSH will all be beneficial.
