Job descriptionWe are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Joiner to work on a mobile basis across the Lancashire region on health care facilities.
The role is a permanent position paying up to 30k (Qualified Joiner) or 25k plus for a fabric Maintenance Operative.
The position will cover the delivery of general maintenance services to each facility and fire door works. Van provided and travel time (door to door) circa 37.5 hours basic plus overtime and on-call.
Duties as the joiner will involve:
Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities at the request of the Maintenance Supervisor.
To liaise with site and FM management regarding request the supply of goods and/or services as necessary.
Fabric maintenance to each facility -doors, trim, windows etc. and all associated trade/non-technical upkeep
Small works refurbishment and life-cycle improvements
Fire Door remedial works, fitting and maintenance
Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with published procedures.
Complete all report sheets and test certificates as necessary and mark up any drawing alterations.
Complete all Task/Risk Assessment sheets relating to work.
Use all of relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works ensuring full compliance with the clients guidelines and controls e.g. Risk Assessment, Site Safety, Fire Safety, Control of Infection and Hazardous Substances.
Obligation to undertake training where necessary to learn new techniques.
Understand fully the inter-relationship between the various maintenance crafts
Carry out any other task as requested/required by supervisor, managers.
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance
• Ideally CSCS card
• Ideally Joinery qualification
• Experience of Fire Door works
• Previous experience of Building maintenance and refurbishment operations
• Manual handling competent
• Valid driving license
• Can work in a team environment
• Be willing to undergo a DBS check
