Mechanical & Electrical Projects Manager – South West London£70,000 - £75,000 Basic Salary + 10.5% Pension Scheme + Private Healthcare + Free Parking + Progression
One of the most prestigious sporting venues in the world are currently recruiting an MEP Manager to deliver and manage projects across a large estate
- Assist cost managers with procurement advice for MEP plant, equipment, contractors and sub-contractors.
- Assist with the management of interfaces between project stakeholders with the project design and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered as programmed with no disruption.
- Attend design and progress meetings.
- Interaction with other departments and their projects advising as necessary in a professional capacity.
- Manage and monitor MEP installations for quality and progress on all EDT projects
- Manage consultants and contractors undertaking validations of existing systems and services prior to commencing design and undertaking demolition and construction works.
- Organise isolations, etc. required for programmes to be maintained with EM.
- Project manage delivery of MEP specific projects.
- Provide monthly update on design and construction progress for Project Managers monthly report.
- Review and comment on design and construction information to meet appropriate regulatory, compliance, quality, and completeness to achieve requirements.
- Review MEP contractors site installations and production of handover documentation to achieve handover on time to team.
- Scope, appoint and support consultants and contractors in understanding existing site and building infrastructure to identify and define MEP strategic and project specific requirements.
- Support the Estate Department and MEP Managers with the development of MEP quality standards and specifications, to ensure that designs and installations meet requirements.
- Support the relationships with and involvement of all internal stakeholders
- Work in collaboration with other Estate Development team members in the delivery of all EDT Projects.
