Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Building Services/Facilities Management)

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire

Type: Contract

Rate: £20ph

Start date: Friday 22nd July 2022

PRS are currently recruiting a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to work with one of our clients based in Farnborough.



This is covering someone on holiday. The dates are;

Friday 22nd July ( Essential for a handover)

Monday 25th July - Wednesday 10th August

This is a Monday - Friday role; the hours are 40 per week.

This company have various contracts in the Hampshire area and repeat work on this particular site.



Within this role of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out PPM tasks around the building and ensure that reactive tasks can also be completed. To make sure that sub-contractors perform the tasks well and meet the building requirements. Also, to operate a work system in accordance with our client’s health and safety procedures. You will also be responsible for the sites Statutory and Code compliances. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you must also be able to demonstrate knowledge in all M&E systems, IPS, Air conditioning, generators and LV systems.



The right candidate must have:



- An NVQ in Building service maintenance / mechanical maintenance 

- Experience in HVAC

- Experience in mechanical maintenance of commercial buildings

- Basic electrical maintenance experience 

- Good verbal communication skills, good written English and basic IT skills.
