Our client is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Shift Engineer to join the team on a contract basis in Oxford.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe delivery of all work. Plumbing attributes to include copper and steel pipework, with knowledge of pumps, basic power and lighting faults. Where required use experience assisting Engineers on fault finding & Diagnostics. 1st Line boiler knowledge, cooling towers, water treatment (dip slides, etc.) and good basic knowledge of BMS systems will be a benefit. Completing all required documentation, job sheets and certificates.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Commercial & Industrial Buildings.
Conversant with Mechanical Plant/Plumbing related Building Services PPM's carried out in-line with SFG20 and resulting Reactive Work.
Capable of working on your own as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of basic Electrical works and experience of working on Building Fabric will be of benefit with 1st line knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, water treatment and basic knowledge of BMS systems will be a benefit.
Deliver PPM relating primarily to Mechanical Building Services Plant and Systems in line with agreed programmes/SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.
Cost, manage and complete Reactive Works identified through PPM work undertaken.
Provide Service Support as part of a team providing quality service delivery 24/7, in a 12 hour day / night shifts working a continental shift pattern.
