Job Title: Mobile Electrical Engineer
Location: Berkshire
Type: Permanent  
Salary: £45,000 + Van

PRS Southampton is looking for a reliable and experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to carry out service maintenance works on high-end commercial sites across Berkshire? The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our clients working on a varied selection of Electrical systems such as plant types including AHU’s, FCU’s, LV electrical distribution, lighting systems heating systems, cooling systems and plumbing.
Knowledge of HV electrical systems would be an advantage.
Your tasks will include the below:
-Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a small portfolio of sites as instructed by the Help desk.
-Fault finding, test, repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC and electrical services equipment
-Carrying out various non-specialist building fabric maintenance tasks.
-To close / update completed PPM tasks on the site's computerised maintenance system.
-Ensure engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated systems.
-To coordinate specialist subcontractors' requirements both for PPM and reactive works.
-Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times and maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all sites works.
-Proactively deal with callouts/repairs as required and requested by management.
-Carry out tasks on plant and electrical systems within critical areas and critical plant rooms typical plant rooms.
-To take part in the standby call out rota for which extra money will be paid.
Your requirements:
-City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing)
-18th Edition IEE Regs
-L8 Awareness
-Practical experience within the building services engineering industry
-Excellent customer service
-IPAF (Desirable)
-HV (AP15)(Desirable)
-Smart Appearance, presentable
-Good Written and verbal communication
-Able to work unsupervised
