Job description

We are recruiting for a Mobilisation Project Manager to join a busy Building Services and Facilities Management team in the mobilisation of new contracts and operations within the business unit. The role is a fixed term contract circa 6 months (or temporary assignment option if required). The role is based off a 40-45k salalry equivalent pro rata (or up to £21.63/hr PAYE temp rate)

To Plan, execute, and finalise mobilisation projects within agreed parameters of cost, timescale and quality delivering business outcomes whilst meeting client specification.
Key responsibilities
Define mobilisation project scope, goals and deliverables that support commercial objectives as agreed with senior management/stakeholders and in line with the client’s specification.
Appoint and co-ordinate mobilisation team resource and manage the efforts of work stream leads and third-parties in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Own project office governance and documentation including; the scheduling and chairing of weekly update calls or meetings both internal and client facing, publishing progress reports, ensuring meetings are minuted, actions are issued and the overall project plan is followed and kept up to date.
Identify and proactively manage changes in contract scope and mobilisation project scope, potential issues & risks, and devise contingency plans to troubleshoot problem areas.
Facilitate communication between work streams where interlocks and contingencies exist in order to progress the project at optimum efficiency.
Ensure all project outputs are documented and recorded, and sufficient information provided where appropriate so that ownership can be transferred to the operations manager and ‘signed for’ at a formal agreed point of handover.
Support, assistance and advice to facilities services operations managers in the planning and definition of mobilisation projects where a dedicated team is not required.
Liaise closely with Facilities internal teams and departments to develop and manage processes and documents required to enable continuous improvement of mobilisation activity.
Understand the anticipated work winning pipeline and be involved throughout bid stage contributing to mobilisation related aspects of the bid documentation and presentation

Essential Criteria
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to influence at all levels using honed interpersonal awareness and concern for impact competencies
Facilities management or project management background ideal
Project management – awareness and knowledge at team manager level
Change Management – understanding of key themes
