Our customer are a well established M&E services provider operating within the UK and Europe, and seek a contract/account manager to run a portfolio of six energy & district heating centres in England. Majority of these are in London & South East England, with the two remaining in Yorkshire – as such, while London and site-based in South East, there will be monthly travel & overnight stay required for the Yorkshire sites. Guideline salary for these positions is £55-60,000 basic salary, along with a car allowance, as well as standard pension scheme, healthcare, etc.
Candidates will be technically qualified in either mechanical or electrical engineering, with at least three years of experience managing within commercial HVAC/building services maintenance. The nature of these energy centres is ancillary buildings to hospital/healthcare, and experience working around “best practice” in these environments such as SFG20 and HTM will be beneficial. While there are supervisors (North & South) reporting into this role, ability to provide technical support/expertise is essential.
Particular working duties will include:
- P&L Management (circa £200-250k per site)
- Management of direct reports (supervisors, admin) as well as larger team
- Regular client meetings
- Satisfy annual compliance/auditing of accounts and sites
- Project works
