Job description
Property SurveyorSouth West London
Social Housing
£38,750 to £40,800
We are pleased to be working on a vacancy for a G15 Housing Association on this role for a Property Surveyor. We are recruiting for a Property Surveyor to support the overall Property directorate in the diagnosis and management of non day to day repairs and building faults. The organisation manages over 55,000 properties with over 120,000 residents.
You will manage your own workload to diagnose and manage property defects, disrepair and complicated or larger pieces of work including ad hoc planned replacements.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential you have a proven track record of delivering complex repairs, with a working knowledge of Schedule of rates and ability to carry out building diagnostics. Expectation of our residents is high and budgets are tight so this role requires people and financial management along with excellent building diagnostic skills. While your experience, skills and track record are an absolute requirement, they are secondary in this role to your commitment, curiosity and genuine passion for fixing buildings first time.
What you'll get in return
You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where you can benefit from our comprehensive in-house training to continue developing your skills.
We offer excellent benefits, including:
· 28 days annual leave plus public holidays and an additional Belief Day, with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days leave
· Healthcare cashplan
· Matched contribution pension scheme (up to 9%)
· Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave
· Salary sacrifice schemes and season ticket loans
· Life assurance scheme
· Paid volunteer days
· Plus lots of voluntary benefits including cash back and discounts from high street names
