Our client, a global Real Estate & Facilities Maintenance organisation, have a requirement for a BMS controls engineer to be based at one of their flagship M&E contracts in London’s Canary Wharf. The contract is the European HQ for an international financial services organisation, and involved in the upkeep of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems across a multi-tenant building.
Candidates will have five years of experience within BMS/control systems, ideally with full electrical qualifications, through either a role with an M&E provider or dedicated manufacturer/systems house. Particular knowledge of Trend and Schneider / TAC will be beneficial. The position will involve working alongside another controls specialist, interrogating controllers to rectify faults, carry out reactive maintenance to various HVAC plant (valves, actuators, etc). Regular client meetings with a focus on energy saving initiatives, generating extra work through upgrade projects, etc.
