Job descriptionPRS are currently working with one of the leading Pub/Restaurant operators in the North West of England who currently have over 30 sites in the region. They are looking for a Mobile / Roving Head Chef to cover between sites as required. This will not only be to cover shifts but also to assist in managing any potential issues on site. The salary for the role is a basic of £34,000 per annum, along with a car allowance of £4,000 + mileage + extensive company benefits, which can be detailed upon application.
The working hours for this role are 48 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, flexible shifts, and 2 consecutive rest days per week. You will not be required to work split shifts.
You will ideally be a current Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef with a full driving licence and own transport. You must have a strong background in delivering excellent standards of pub restaurant food. It is essential that you have experience in managing a busy kitchen.
It is essential that you understand all aspects of Food Hygiene safety and as such will have a current Food Hygiene certificate to a minimum level 2. You will also be expected to have relevant chef qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds.
