Service Desk Coordinator- 28-30k- London City

As a Service Desk Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling engineers’ workload/diaries by allocating jobs and re-arranging engineers/jobs at short notice.
You will also be responsible for liaising with our customers via email and phone, ensuring our high level of professionalism is consistently maintained.

  • Direct contact with customers via phone and email
  • Distributing telephone calls to relevant staff
  • Office diary management
  • Dealing with customer queries and complaints and resolving any issues
  • Arranging emergency call outs
  • Booking jobs
  • Scheduling planned maintenances
  • Raising purchase orders and ordering goods.
  • Liaising with Engineers, management team and Subcontractors
  • Maintenance of WIP report
  • Data entry and ad-hoc admin duties
  • Supporting the Service Desk team and wider teams to deliver an excellent service
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Office programmes and internal systems

Personal requirements:
  • Well organized with strong prioritising and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast moving environment
  • Self-motivated and diligent
  • Focused on delivering excellent service at all times
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous and work to a high standard
  • Passion and enthusiasm for the role
  • Understanding of Microsoft office programmes
  • Experience in same/ similar industry preferable
