Due to planned refurbishment and upgrade works, my client is seeking a construction Site Manager on a 6 month contract based in Dorset.
My client is responsible for the management, refurbishment and upgrades of all buildings on behalf of their client. As part of these upgrades, my client is seeking a Site Manager who will oversee and manage these works, to ensure they are completed to time and specification.
The project consists of replacement / major refurbishment of existing cladding on buildings within the estate, and therefore experience of managing similar type projects is essential.
As Site Manager you will be responsible for the works being completed to specification and standard, managing sub contractors and trades on site and ensuring Health & Safety is maintained at all times. You will be part of progress meetings with the client, reporting on the works at regular intervals to ensure works are being carried out to programme.
The successful applicant will have minimum 5 years experience working in a Site Manager capacity, hold a relevant qualification / trades background, and due to the nature of the project and client, be able to obtain security clearance.
This contract is due to start early-mid April and run for a minimum of 6 months, which could be extended further. For more information or to apply please contact James Whicher
