**Fabric Technician – Central London - £35K**
Location: Central London
Salary: £35K
Hours – Monday to Friday 8AM – 5PM

My client who has built their reputation for over 40 years are looking for a Fabric Technician to join their team based in Central London. The Covent Garden site is a Brand-New Commercial Office Building. The successful Fabric Technician will be required to work on Monday to Friday 8AM – 5PM and will be rewarded with a £35K salary.

  • Plumbing - washers, taps, unblocking toilets, unblocking stacks, L8, installing new sinks, urinals and toilets, pipework (copper or PVC)
  • Carpentry - hanging doors, new locks, architrave, window frames, boxing in, assembling furniture
  • Tiling - floors, walls, and Carpet tiles
  • Ensure that minor maintenance is carried out to building plant, equipment and systems as required meeting and exceeding expectations, and agreed service level agreements
  • Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant
  • Provide support and assistance to the site engineers in the way of PPM, Project and Reactive works, induct/escort subcontractors where required and update logbooks when necessary
  • Ensure all plant rooms are always in a clean and tidy state and remove bulk waste from office areas upon receipt of formal request via helpdesk
  • Liaise with the helpdesk daily to ensure calls are attended to and closed off in accordance with the contract specification
  • City & Guilds in either Bricklaying, Plastering, Tiling, Painting and Decoration
  • Honest, hardworking, and reliable
  • Fully conversant with fabric repairs and maintenance
  • Experience of maintaining the fabric of a building within a commercial environment
  • Clean Driving License
  • Excellent customer service skills
