Job description
We are seeking to recruit for an experienced Warehouse / Client Assistant to work in the Solihull area of Birmingham – the role is a 3 Month contract – based on working Monday to Friday – 8am – 5pm – Paying - £11.00 per hour.Job spec:
The position involves the efficient delivery of stores and goods inwards services.
Inputting data for receiving / issuing components etc.
Manual handling,
Putting goods into / picking goods from correct location
Adhering to ESD procedures (Standard operating sheets)
Ability to utilise bar code printer / reader
Record keeping – Archiving
Documents / Engineering samples
Controlled disposal in line with procedure
Providing service to Engineers requiring goods
Kitting, preparing parts ready for engineers
Computer literate (MS Excel, Vertical lift, MS AX, or similar)
Good communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Competency in Customs procedures (preferred)
