Account Assistant
Hourly Rate: £13.00
Job Type: Term to Perm
Location: Bristol
We are currently seeking an Account Assistant, it’s a dual role where the individual will spend 2/3 days as a support function taking phone calls and issuing purchase orders to the engineers and the other days will be assisting the Accounts Department.
Role Responsibilities
- Main role is 2 – 3 days daily Processing & issuing of Procurement Orders.
- Dealing with legal notices within a timely basis.
- Matching of invoices on a daily basis to GRNs / Worksheets / Purchase Orders.
- Processing and ensuring payments are made to Suppliers via Bacs on a timely basis.
- Liaising with Contract Managers to ensure invoices are approved on a timely basis.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Ms Excel and Word.
- Daily posting of invoices and credit notes onto Coins.
- Some understanding of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
Additional
- Monday – Thurs 08:30am – to 17:00pm (Including 1 hour Lunch Break) and Friday 08:30am – 16:30pm.
