Chef
Pay: £14.75 per hour / £29,529.50 per year
Schedule: 4 days on / 3 days off
Hours: 07:00 – 17:00 (with a 30-minute lunch break)
Contract: Permanent
We are looking for a Chef for one of our clients to work in a busy kitchen along side their catering team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a great background in Kitchens that are looking to expand their knowledge and grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities for a Chef:
- Prepare, cook, and present meals to a consistently high standard.
- Work efficiently within a structured rota (4 on, 3 off).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all food hygiene standards.
- Support with menu planning, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements for a Chef:
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
- Ability to pass a security clearance check prior to starting (conducted by the client).
- Previous experience as a chef in a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
