Job Title: Chef – Winchester
Pay: £14.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
We are recruiting for an Chef to join our client’s team in Winchester. This is a weekday role with set daytime hours – ideal for someone seeking a great work–life balance with no evening or weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities for a Chef:
- Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard in line with set menus and dietary requirements.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, allergen control, and portion consistency.
- Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety regulations.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages.
- Working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
Requirements for a Chef:
- Enhanced DBS check (essential).
- Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, allergen management, and safe food handling.
- Reliable, organised, and able to manage kitchen operations confidently.
