Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer – Bristol
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum + On-Call Standby
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
A leading facilities management provider is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team at a high-profile commercial site in Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to deliver a variety of electrical and building services maintenance tasks, with on-call responsibilities and a fully equipped company vehicle provided during on-call weeks.
The Role As a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems, ensuring statutory compliance and health & safety standards are met. You will work alongside the site team to support the smooth operation of building services and provide technical expertise when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and associated building services.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and health & safety regulations.
- Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 2 weeks) responding to emergencies.
- Work as part of a multi-skilled team to support overall site operations.
- Record and report work completed, including faults and corrective actions.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified in Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a multi-skilled or electrical engineering role within commercial or facilities maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and team-working ability.
- Flexible approach to work across a range of building services tasks.
Package & Benefits
