Kitchen Assistant
Location:Taunton
£12.21 per hour
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9:00am – 3:00pm
(option to work 7:00am – 3:00pm for longer hours)
Ongoing, long-term role
Must hold a valid Basic DBS check
A Kitchen Assistant is required to support the smooth running of kitchen operations. This is a ongoing position, offering regular weekday hours.
Duties for the Kitchen Assistant include:
- Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Keeping the kitchen, dining areas and equipment clean and tidy
- Washing up and ensuring hygiene standards are maintained
- Supporting kitchen staff with day-to-day duties as required
- Following health, safety and food hygiene procedures at all times
Requirements for a Kitchen Assistant:
- Must hold a valid Basic DBS check
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is an advantage
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
- Flexible approach and willingness to assist where needed
