A well-established facilities management provider is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of a high-profile commercial building in the Liverpool Street area.This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with a practical background in building maintenance who takes pride in delivering a safe, well-maintained working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out general building maintenance and minor repairs
- Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Assist engineers with mechanical and electrical works where required
- Conduct basic fault finding on building services systems
- Complete routine inspections and checks
- Ensure work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
- Accurately record work completed using site systems
- Previous experience in a commercial building or facilities environment
- Practical maintenance skills (basic mechanical, electrical, or fabric works)
- Knowledge of general building services and plant rooms
- Relevant trade qualification or hands-on experience
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
