Soft Services SupervisorLocation: HammersmithSalary: £35,000 – £40,000Contract: (Full-time / Permanent )PRS Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a distinguished school, for an experienced Soft Services Supervisor to join their Estates & Facilities team.Overall Purpose of the RoleAs the Soft Services Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, professional delivery of all soft services across the school site. This includes site presentation, cleanliness, porterage, event setups, and general support services, maintained to the highest standards in line with compliance and health & safety regulations.You will take full ownership of soft services operations, coordinating the team, managing site-wide setups, supporting health & safety compliance, overseeing risk assessments, and identifying opportunities to deliver cost-effective services throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily soft services operations across the entire site, ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard and ready for use.
- Plan and deliver site-wide setups for events, activities, and daily use.
- Line-manage and schedule Soft Services Assistants, producing daily job sheets and prioritising work effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all soft services inquiries, coordinating responses to both planned and reactive tasks through the help desk and CAFM system.
- Carry out basic maintenance and repair tasks in support of soft services functions, escalating technical issues to the hard services team when needed.
- Monitor soft FM KPIs and service-level agreements (SLAs), driving continuous improvement to meet or exceed targets.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in soft facilities services, including cleaning, porterage, room setups, and general site support.
- Experience supervising or line-managing staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Track record of working to and achieving KPIs and SLAs in a service-led environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality around sensitive school operations and information.
- Experience engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including contractors and school staff.
- Strong understanding of health & safety practices, including basic compliance knowledge (e.g., COSHH, manual handling).
- Demonstrable commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
