Senior Project Manager – Data Centre Operations (London)Location: South London & West London (multi-site role)
Salary: Up to £100,000 + benefits
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery and ongoing development of two critical Data Centre sites located in South and West London. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone with a strong background in mission-critical environments and a passion for delivering complex infrastructure projects to the highest standards.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project delivery across both sites, ensuring programmes are executed on time, within budget, and in line with strict operational and compliance requirements. You will act as the key interface between stakeholders, contractors, and technical teams, maintaining seamless coordination across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery across two live Data Centre environments
- Oversee upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure improvements
- Manage contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure quality and performance standards
- Maintain strict adherence to health & safety, compliance, and operational protocols
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and risk registers
- Provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders and executive leadership
- Ensure minimal disruption to live environments during project execution
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within Data Centres or other mission-critical environments
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, critical infrastructure, and live operational constraints
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-site projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent) preferred
- Recognised technical qualification in construction, mechanical, or electrical discipline
- Business-level written and verbal communication skills, with strong numeracy
- Recognised qualification in project management
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent CDM training)
