Junior Electrical Engineer – Liverpool Street, LondonSalary: £36,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider on a prestigious commercial site near Liverpool Street. This role is ideal for an electrically qualified engineer looking to develop their career within commercial building maintenance while working alongside an experienced and supportive engineering team.
This position offers structured training, ongoing development, and clear progression opportunities, making it an excellent role for someone with a recognised electrical qualification and some experience within the FM or building maintenance sector.

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and building services systems.
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs across electrical installations.
- Complete emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
- Assist with the maintenance of plant rooms, pumps, motors, and associated equipment.
- Carry out basic maintenance on air handling units (AHUs) and fan coil units (FCUs), including filter changes and cleaning.
- Undertake basic plumbing duties, such as unblocking toilets and minor repairs.
- Ensure maintenance records and logbooks are completed accurately.
- Build positive relationships with clients and provide a professional service at all times.
- Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or completed electrical apprenticeship).
- Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to provide relevant qualifications and trade certificates.
