Electrical Shift Leader – £60,000 – MoorgateContinental Shift Pattern (12-Hour Shifts)

We are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity with a well-established Facilities Management service provider based in Moorgate. This role is situated on a large commercial site, where the successful candidate will lead a team of engineers and take responsibility for delivering high-quality maintenance services.
The ideal candidate will be electrically biased and possess strong building maintenance experience within a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance is carried out across client assets using the PPM system.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records relating to Health & Safety, building compliance, and quality assurance.
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure contractual standards and requirements are met.
- Ensure plant faults and defects are diagnosed and rectified promptly to maintain operational continuity.
- Complete detailed maintenance records and job sheets.
- Prepare, review, and implement Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
- Manage and support the shift engineering team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Allocate and oversee tasks to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals for shift engineers.
- Identify training needs and implement development plans to ensure the team remains fully skilled and compliant.
- City & Guilds Electrical Qualification (Level 2 & 3)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
- Strong knowledge of UPS systems, generators, power distribution, HVAC, and HV/LV systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
