Electrical Engineer – Facilities / Building Services (Static Site)Maidenhead (Static Site) Full-Time | Permanent Competitive Salary + Overtime + Training + Career Progression
Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Facilities Engineer to join a prestigious static site in Maidenhead, supported by a globally recognised Facilities Management provider.
This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with experience in building services and facilities maintenance, looking to progress within a high-performing and professional environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining electrical and building services systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency, while benefiting from structured training and clear career progression.

The Role As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems.
This is a static site position, offering stability, ownership, and a clear pathway into supervisory progression.
Key Responsibilities Electrical Maintenance & Compliance
- Deliver PPM activities to maximise system reliability and asset performance
- Carry out fault finding, testing, and electrical repairs
- Perform emergency lighting tests and fire alarm inspections
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and site procedures
- Maintain and support:
- FCUs (Fan Coil Units)
- AHUs (Air Handling Units)
- HVAC systems and associated plant
- Support general building services maintenance activities
- Respond to reactive maintenance tasks in a timely manner
- Support and supervise engineers where required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Promote a strong Health & Safety (HSEQ) culture
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, delivering high-quality service
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation or Engineering
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Experience in facilities management or building services environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices
- Proven ability in fault finding and diagnostics
- Experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity
- Knowledge of HVAC systems (AHU, FCU, building services plant)
- Experience in client-facing FM environments
- Strong technical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
