As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across a busy commercial environment. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, developing your technical knowledge while carrying out a varied range of electrical and building services tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs across electrical installations
- Testing emergency lighting and fire alarm systems
- Supporting maintenance of plant rooms, pumps, motors, and associated equipment
- Assisting with basic AHU and FCU maintenance, including filter changes and cleaning
- Carrying out minor plumbing and general building maintenance tasks
- Completing maintenance records, reports, and logbooks accurately
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive client relationships
- A recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or completed electrical apprenticeship)
- Some experience within commercial maintenance, facilities management, or a similar environment
- A willingness to learn and develop additional building services skills
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
- The ability to provide relevant qualifications and trade certificates
