Position: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire
Type: Permanent
Salary: £38,000 PA – £42,000 Mon-Fri 40 hours per week days
We are recruiting for a multiskilled maintenance electrician to join a new team of engineers in providing building services and plant room maintenance to key estates across the Bridlington area. You will be expected to have and excellent understanding of plant room and building services engineering, compliance and have a multiskilled background.
 
Duties & Responsibilities
Completing building services / electrical maintenance across several (circa 8) estates
To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems
To cover all maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements
To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
Work on AHU’s, fans coils and general HVAC plant room
Mechanical and fabric tasks where required
Compliance checks
Small works projects
Lead works providing guidance to resident maintenance personnel, client managers and sub-contractors
Provide guidance on compliance and scheduling of checks plus visibility of compliance records
 
Skills & Background Required
Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3
Ideally electrical engineering / Qualified Electrician
Multiskilled background, ideally to have experience on general HVAC plant including AHU’s, fan coils etc.
18th edition
Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
Must be presentable, articulate with a sound understanding of compliance and PPM paperwork and records
Able to clear security check
Driving license and willing to operate on a mobile basis
Familiar with Facilities Management Sector and to have had previous lead or some supervisory skills
