Location: Southampton
Pay: £14 – £17 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday,8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative / Handyman to join our client’s team in the SO15 area of Southampton. This is a varied role where you will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and ensuring the site is kept in good working order.
Duties for a Maintenance Operative / Handyman will include:
- General maintenance and handyman duties
- Basic painting and decorating
- Garden maintenance and outdoor upkeep
- Carrying out minor repairs and general site maintenance
- Supporting with basic fabric engineer tasks
- Ensuring the site is safe, clean, and well maintained
The ideal Maintenance Operative / Handyman will have:
- Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities, or handyman roles
- Experience with basic repairs, painting, and garden work
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Ability to work independently and manage a range of tasks
- Good reliability and work ethic
Candidates with experience working in holiday park maintenance, property maintenance, or groundskeeping would be highly desirable.
