The building features fully integrated BMS controls, cutting-edge mechanical & electrical systems, advanced VRV cooling, and a commercial-grade kitchen.We’re looking for a hands-on, flexible Maintenance Engineer to join our small, highly skilled team and help deliver exceptional standards across the property.The RoleWorking as part of a 3-person engineering team, you’ll be responsible for first-line maintenance on building systems as well as general handyman duties and aesthetic upkeep across the property. The role suits a practical all-rounder who’s happy to get stuck in, solve problems, and take pride in their work.You’ll be maintaining both front-of-house and back-of-house areas, supporting M&E plant, and handling everything from HVAC faults to picture hanging and minor repairs. There’s also a strong focus on training and long-term development, with support available for formal qualifications.Working HoursStandard Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00Flexibility Required: During key periods (when clients are in residence), the engineering/handyman team may operate flexible shifts or extended hours, including occasional 24-hour cover on rotation.All additional hours are fully compensated through overtime pay or agreed time off in lieu.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct first-line maintenance to the properties services from handyman functions through to more complex of M&E, HVAC, and plumbing systems. subject to expMonitor and assist with the operation of a fully BMS-controlled building – training providedCarry out general maintenance and repair tasks, including:Hot water systems, taps, showers, small appliancesMinor floor/wall/door repairs and finishesHanging shelves, pictures, mirrors, fixturesExternal building upkeep and fabric repairsAssist with maintenance in the commercial kitchen areas.Respond promptly to maintenance issues and carry out preventative checks.Maintain clean, safe, and professional standards at all times.What We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role (hotels, luxury residential, commercial buildings).basic working knowledge & interest in mechanical/electrical systems, HVAC building services.A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn and help out across all areas.Good communication skills and the ability to work discreetly in a premium environment.Comfortable with flexible working during busier periods (with appropriate compensation).Preferred QualificationsNot essential practical exp more important – NVQ, City & Guilds, or other trade qualification in carpentry or plumbing or electrical, or mechanical systems.Health & Safety awareness (manual handling, COSHH, risk assessments).Salary & Benefits£28,000 – £40,000 per annum, based on experienceOvertime paid for additional hours or flexible shift cover25 days’ annual leave + bank holidaysCompany pension schemeFull support for training and formal trade qualifications (e.g. night school or college)Tools and uniform provided (if required)Work in a professional, respectful environment in one of London’s most desirable areas Dave Haxell To Apply for this Job Click Here
