Job Opportunity: Static Multi-Skilled Engineer (Plumbing Bias)

Salary: Up to £38,000
Are you a highly skilled multi-trade engineer with a plumbing background? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading facilities maintenance client on a static site in Poole!
About the Role:
As a Static Multi-Skilled Engineer with a plumbing bias, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of systems across the site. This role offers variety, working with a range of trades while specialising in plumbing maintenance. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, ensuring the smooth operation of all building services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across plumbing systems (including heating, drainage, and water services).
- General building maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and fabric duties.
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests and ensure the site operates at optimal efficiency.
- Work closely with the client to meet service level agreements and health and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer with a plumbing bias.
- Experience within facilities maintenance or similar environments.
- Excellent knowledge of building systems and maintenance techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous Facilities Maintenance (FM) experience within a commercial or similar environment.
- Relevant qualifications in plumbing (City & Guilds or equivalent), plus additional qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC would be beneficial.
- Strong multi-trade skills and experience working across different building systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
