Mobile Building Services Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: North London & surrounding areas (primarily Croxley Park, Hertfordshire, and Stockley Business Park, Heathrow)
- Salary: £43,000 – £45,000 per year (negotiable depending on experience)
- Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 (Full-time, overtime available at enhanced rates)
- Fully Expensed Company Vehicle
- Overtime opportunities paid at enhanced rates.

About the Role:We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join a rapidly expanding small company as an Electrically bias Mobile Building Services Engineer. This role offers genuine career progression, with full training and support provided to help you develop your career. This could include becoming one of the company’s NICEIC Qualifying Supervisors in the future. Within this role You’ll be responsible for maintaining and servicing building systems across a varied portfolio of business parks, offices, and educational facilities, ensuring all electrical, mechanical, and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on building services and electrical systems.
- Perform statutory M&E and health & safety tasks.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults and complete minor installations.
- Assist with mechanical and basic plumbing maintenance when required.
- Ensure compliance with MEP schedules and company procedures.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high standards of service.
- Communicate effectively with clients, site staff, and management.
Requirements:
- Previous M&E Building Services Maintenance Experience
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent, required for QS eligibility)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- 2391-52 Test & Inspection (or equivalent, required for QS eligibility)
- Proven experience in building services maintenance and electrical engineering
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence.
- Basic plumbing knowledge advantageous
