Technical Supervisor – £55,000 – St Paul’s area
A well-established engineering and facilities services provider is looking for an experienced Technical Supervisor to take ownership of a smaller site and lead a compact, dedicated team. This role is ideal for a hands-on supervisor who enjoys being involved day to day, supporting senior engineers, and ensuring smooth, efficient site operations within a collaborative working environment.
Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise day-to-day activities of a technical support team
- Act as a key point of contact between technical leaders, facilities teams, and stakeholders
- Plan workloads, manage deadlines, and balance competing priorities
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Coach and develop team members, leading by example
- Support service delivery across engineering, maintenance, and project activities
- Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
About You
- Proven supervisory or shift-lead experience within engineering, technical services, or FM
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience (trade or technical background preferred)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Numerate and commercially aware
- Comfortable working in a hands-on technical environment
