Kitchen Assistant – Temporary Cover
Location: Taunton, Somerset
Dates: Monday 5th – Thursday 8th
Hours: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Pay: £12.21 per hour
We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Assistant to provide temporary cover at a site in Taunton.
Key Duties:
- Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Supporting chefs during service
- Serving customers and providing good customer service
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and food prep areas
- Washing up and keeping work areas tidy
- Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience (essential)
- Confident with food preparation and customer service
- Allergen awareness training (required)
- Food Safety Level 2 (minimum requirement)
- Health & Safety training
- DBS check beneficial due to the nature of the site
