Position: Mechanical & HVAC Shift Engineer

We are recruiting for a HVAC Engineer to work a nightshift and cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a large scale estate in the Manchester area. The Air Mechanical biased Engineer will be responsible for completing planned and reactive maintenance to the AC-R, HVAC and AHU’s etc.. The role is a permanent position paying £50,000. The position is 5/7 nightshift. Circa 20:00 – 04:30.
Air Conditioning Engineer Description:
Completing reactive repairs, planned maintenance and small works projects.
Maintenance of AC-R, VRV’s, VAV’s, AHU’s, FCU’s
Basic mechanical plant room
Logging jobs via PDA and communicating with the helpdesk etc.
Compliance checks
Supervision on contractors on site
Air Conditioning Engineer Description: requirements:
Qualification in Air Conditioning or associated HVAC engineering
Ideally F-Gas but not essential
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Ability and desire to complete general mechanical maintenance tasks
Be prepared to undertake training as required by the post and the contract manager.
Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
Willing and able to pass security checks
