Position: Fire Extinguisher Compliance Operative
Location: Warrington / North West England
Type: Permanent
Salary: £34,000 – £35,000 basic plus OT etc. Mon – Fri 40 hours per week
We are recruiting for a Compliance & Fire Equipment Operative to complete fire extinguisher checks and testing across multiple contract types. The position will involve travel across the Northwest (and further afield on occasion).
Salary of £34,000 – £35,000 PAY plus OT, van supplied with personal use etc.
 
Compliance & Maintenance Operative Duties:
To ensure all building compliance checks are complete and recorded largely Fire Extinguisher checks 
To assist in anti legionella tasks such as Tamp Temps and TMV’s etc.
To ensure stock and supplies are maintained
To ensure all H&S obligations and met and exceeded
To log jobs and completed tasks on the data system
To complete any general handyperson and fabric maintenance duties required
Emergency lighting checks
 
Requirements:
To have previous experience on maintenance, handyperson and compliance duties
To have previous experience and grading on fire extinguisher checks and ideally certification
Ideally to have 2377 PAT testing but training can be provided
Valid driving license
Can pass a DBS check (due to site requirements)
Willing to complete general manual tasks where required
Good client facing skills
