Position: Maintenance Electrician
Type: Fixed Term contract till June or Temporary ongoing
Location: York
Salary: Based off a £39,700 PA (£19.13/hr) plus OT. Mon – Fri 40 hours per week.
We are recruiting for a maintenance electrician to provide PPM and reactive services to a large scale estate in the York area (the role may develop into a mobile role at a later point).
You will be expected to have good knowledge of FM disciplines and building services. The role can be taken as an employed FTC or a temporary ongoing role.
Maintenance Electrician Engineer Description:
· To ensure that all critical PPM’s are carried out and reactive work at the request of the end user, ensuring that this is in line with SLA’s
· To ensure the correct H&S procedure is observed
· To provide Electrical H&S and compliance engineering the facility
· To undertake minor installation works such as lighting and small power installations
· To undertake electrical works on the power supply, lighting, power generation, HVAC, UPS, A/C units, etc
· To support with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines including fabric, compliance, basic mechanical etc.
Skills & Background Required:
Recognised professional apprenticeship or equivalent
NVQ Level 3 Grade (or Part 1 and 2 C&G)
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations,
H&S Focused with training to support
Ability to deal with conflicting priorities
Proven building maintenance experience
Must be presentable and reliable
Valid driving license (for mobile version)
Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
DBS check required
