Our client are one of the highest profile and world leading educational organisations, based in the Kensington & West London area, who currently seek an Electrically biased engineer to work as part of their in-house Facilities Engineering Team, covering a campus of buildings. Working on a 12 hour “days-only” shift pattern across 7 x days per week, and responsible for planned and reactive maintenance to electrical and general building services systems. This pattern provides a maximum of 3 days in a row on site, with weekday shift hours of 7am-7pm and weekend running from 08:00-16:00. Guideline salary for this position is circa £43-44k, with healthy benefits including:

Candidates must be fully qualified in Electrical Engineering, ideally through a full apprenticeship, and with at least three years of dedicated experience within commercial building services and facilities maintenance. Along with core qualifications, additional training / courses such as 18th Edition, 2391, Legionella Awareness, IOSH, etc will be beneficial.
Particular working knowledge should extend to: Single & Three Phase Power, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, Pumps & Motors, Air Handling & Fan Coil Units, BMS Operation, Water Treatment (Taps, Cooling Towers), Pressurisation Units, VRV/VRFs, Diesel Generators, 1st line Chiller & Boiler Faults, etc.
