The role:

• Reporting to the Shift Supervisor
• Carrying out preventative maintenance to deadline plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities
• To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPI’s
• To manage sub-contractors as necessary working to a safe system of work and permit-to-work system
• This company has a great reputation for retaining staff
• Brand new building, very high-end site
• Continental shift pattern – days and nights

The person:

• Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline with suitable industry experience
• Experience in building services maintenance is essential
• Engineers must be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, Generators, LV systems, which will include the ability to fault find.
• Good communication is essential
• Very client facing role
• Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills
• Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems
• Experience in a commercial environment essential
• Must have a good understanding of health & safety best practice; formal training an advantage
