About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Contract Support professional with a strong finance focus to join a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role plays a key part in supporting both operational and financial performance across the contract, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all financial elements.
You will be responsible for coordinating service delivery while also managing financial processes such as purchase orders, invoicing, and cost control. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining administration, customer service, and finance responsibilities in a varied role.
Key Responsibilities for Contract Support:
- Provide professional and timely support via phone and email
- Raise, manage, and track purchase orders and ensure accurate financial records
- Support the processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
- Process and validate supplier quotations in line with contract requirements
- Monitor financial aspects of jobs from creation through to completion
- Liaise with internal finance teams and suppliers to resolve queries
- Raise and allocate work orders to relevant engineers and teams
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure SLA compliance
- Maintain accurate system records across PPM, reactive works, and financial data
- Support supply chain performance and ensure adherence to financial procedures
- Assist with maintaining QHSE documentation and compliance records
- Manage and update personnel records (starters, leavers, changes)
- Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and efficiencies

Experience & Skills for Contract Support:
- Previous experience in a contract support, finance admin, or similar role
- Experience with purchase orders, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and basic formulas)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with systems such as Dynamics, Concept, or Maximo is advantageous
- Comfortable liaising with finance teams, clients, and suppliers
Education:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths required
- Further education (A-Level/HNC or equivalent) desirable
