Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00
Location: Amsterdam, Northern Holland
Total Package: €65,000 to €70,000
Base Salary: €65,000

The Opportunity
As Engineering Maintenance Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in keeping a state-of-the-art data center running safely, efficiently, and without interruption. You’ll lead High Voltage and Medium Voltage maintenance, manage contractors, and drive operational excellence across critical systems.
 
This is an ideal role for someone who already understands technical environments — and now wants to take that experience into the fast-growing world of digital infrastructure.
 
You will:
·      Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing on-site maintenance team
·      Oversee preventive & corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems
·      Support HV/MV/LV Switching and Switching Plans
·      Change advisory Board etc
·      Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with SLAs, health & safety, and quality frameworks
·      Ensure smooth site operations, incident response, and continuous improvement
·      Contribute to a strong culture of safety, learning, and operational discipline
·      Write Processes
·      Implement and manager Procedures
·      System Ownership
·      Log Out and Tag out process

Who We’re Looking For
Ideally candidates need to come from a data center background — although the business is open-minded and actively supports cross-sector transition.
 
We’re looking for a Dutch-speaking engineering professional with English communication skills and experience supervising technical teams in structured, process-driven environments.
Ideal backgrounds include:
 
·      Oil & Gas / Power Generation
·      Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering
·      Process or Chemical Engineering
·      HVAC / Facilities Engineering
·      Military Engineering (X-Forces)
·      Nuclear / Mission-Critical Environments
 
Key Attributes
·      Experience in engineering operations or maintenance supervision
·      Vendor/subcontractor management capability
·      Familiarity with critical equipment (HV/LV/UPS a bonus, not a requirement)
·      Strong leadership and team development skills
·      Solid understanding of procedures, compliance, and safety
·      Calm, structured approach under pressure
