A facilities maintenance and building contractor is looking for an experienced M&E Estimator for their growing Preconstruction function.
Responsibilities • Preparing competitive M&E tender packages up to £2m from first principles• Performing take-offs from drawings and producing detailed prime cost plans• Liaising with the Building stream to deliver joint bids• Engaging supply chain and analysing quotations for compliance• Supporting contract bid submissions against NSR schedules
What we’re looking for:• 5+ years’ M&E estimating experience with a reputable M&E contractor• Demonstrable experience costing tenders up to c£2m• Knowledge of MTC, JCT, and NEC forms of contract• HNC or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering (desirable)• Proficiency with estimating and take-off software packages
Up to £75,000 (Negotiable) + discretionary bonus + excellent benefits including 25 days leave, life assurance, and funded professional subscriptions.
